All corps planters that are doing SALVO incarnational-missional communities (NEOs and the like)... that is, those of us who live with people of lower economic means because we want to express the love of God and to act justly and share our lives with them.

We had our first informal JUSTLive Network gathering the last week-end of Sept. Here's a report:
JUSTLive Network Gathering:
September 29th-October 1st 2007
Over thirty different leaders from nine different community/corps outposts gathered together in Melbourne (various locations) over the weekend for the JUSTLive network.
The purpose of the gathering was to provide peer-led spiritual support and encouragement towards incarnational corps plants among the ‘poor’, vision for the future, and share resources to be intentional about health and expansion.

The weekend held a lot of prayer, visioning, sharing experiences and common purposes towards expanding the kingdom in this way. The event kicked off at Mitcham where Lt. Richard Parker shared the original vision for a new work there and the network prayed through the building and prayed for Richard – renewing his vision for the work there. Sunday, billets went to the various communities represented around the city and gathered in Collingwood to prayer walk the neighbourhood – hearing and affirming the vision for a new Incarnational community outpost in that place. Later that night we met at Shop 16 for tea, prayed for the work in Resevoir and also shared and prayed with each other. Capt. Paul and Robbin Moulds gave words of advice and encouragement to the network, re-affirming their biblical call to the poor and encouraging them to keep strong connects with The Salvation Army. Monday morning was hosted by Café Salvo at Noble Park where we were able to go and pray at the site where the young Sudanese boy was beaten to death, talk with the police and pray for the local leadership there for a godly response in these difficult days.
